Whats a good place to move to in upstate NY?

There is a little tiny town in Upstate NY called Pottersville... it is about 20 miles NORTH of Lake George right in the Adirondacks...it is surrounded by farms and a ski resort (Gore Mt. and Whiteface is also close by).. there are golf courses and many lakes for fishing and plenty of land for sale where you could raise crops, hunt and fish at will.. In the summer, the town is full of tourists which might give you a market place to sell whatever you might create on your property... be it creative wood furniture or handmade items or maybe even things like jams and jellies that you've put up from berries you grew on your land...there is plenty of out door activity during the summer and if you like winter sports, this area of New York is abundant with them...
