How can i stop my older brother treating me like a child?

India, it sounds like you two should go somewhere and talk. I mean really open up and talk. Try not to say or do anything that will cause your brother to act like the man he is. You must realize that he is a full grown man taking care of his younger sister. Once you have taken that in now you can ask yourself, how can I earn his respect so that he will not treat me like a three year old? You must start a positive pattern in your relationship and if he is mature, he will see this and step backwards. GIve him the reason to look at you as a young lady. Don't argue infront of anyone, you are forcing him to stand his ground, he has too. It isn't easy being the oldest, he has a great responability raising you the right way. Talk and take it one step at a time. In time he should see you in a brighter light.
