Mistersato is correct. Dresden was more than just a railroad. You are correct. It was an industrial powerhouse. The Japanese should have prevented Hiroshima. On Dec. 6, 1941, Admiral Yamamoto told Hirohito, "Ha so! Tomorrow we gonna bomb the yankees!" Hirohito should have told Yamamoto, "Maybe you don't do that."
