Guinea pigs. I've just adopted a male guinea pig. He's 18 weeks old and was kept in a shed with others.

Hey darl, i had a male guinea pig just like him so i thought it would be best to get him a female to try and relieve some of the...um...anger. He did get her pregnant and she had 2 males but not before he ripped all her fur off. But guess who was best a friends, Dad and 1 of the boys, they lived peacefully in a hutch together. Although he has ped on now, cheeky boy, his son is still with me, making babies of his own. You didn't say where you got him though, maybe he had a scare 1 day when either a cat, dog or child got in the hutch and he's had to learn to defend himself. He does need a attitude re-arrangement, he's a gutsy little fellow, but patience is really the only answer. Unless you put a little am radio in his hutch with him and play clical. Sounds gay i know but it might help him relax.
