Removing black hair dye and greasy hair...?

I dyed my hair black and didn't like it, I tried removing the color but it did nothing. If you bleach your hair you may end up causing more damage and not liking it. I had to go to the salon and sit there for hours but they did end up getting it a tad but lighter and also added some highlights. If I were you I would go to the salon and let them know what your wanting and they can tell you what they can do and what to expect.
