I have a weird father, why is he like this, what is his problem?

Oh that is a hard situation to be in. I am very sorry. You sound like a mature teen. Everyone wants to impress their parents. I think it is very normal that you ask for their help and want to share your accomplishment with them. The sad part is, if they don't react properly and it can be very hurtful. If you find it hard to communicate with your dad and share your enjoyments and future plan with him, I suggest finding a counselor in your school or some one else who can guide you better and help you go through hard times. I know that they cannot replace your dad but it might help a bit. Try to be strong and surround yourself with the people who supports you.
