I am going to start Yasmin birth control pills... anybody taking these and having side effects?

I am switching from ortho tri cyclen lo and am mostly concerned about losing scalp hair. My hair has been thinning on top for a couple of years and I don't want to lose any more. I heard that b/c pills or hormones can make you lose hair. I am very nervous. Any info will help tremendously! Thanks !!
