Does anyone have any good motherly instinct stories? (mines long, read if you like)?

I have a very good instinct when it comes to my 9 year old son.He is also an severe asthmatic.When he was born I kept telling the doctors at the hospital something was wrong with him.He sounded like an old man who smoked to much.They kept telling me that it was my imagination.I couldn't get rid of the feeling something was wrong with him.I took him to a new pediatrician and just has I suspected he was having breathing problems.The doctor told me that my son had asthma and then promptly called for an ambulance he said the my sons lungs were filled with fluid and that if I had listened to the other doctors my son would have died.I have pretty much got things down to a science now.I can tell if he is getting ready to have another bout with pneumonia or a severe asthma attack just by looking at him and watching his behavior.I now can tell when he is getting pneumonia when it is hard for the doctors to see it on in his lung x-rays.
